Lighting up the sounds of the season
How we did it
It starts with some software and hardware called Light-O-Rama
We start programming the music in July, it takes about 5 to 6 hours to program every min of music.
Most of the control hardware comes as a kit, and is assembled and installed in weather proof boxes, there are 16 channels per box
Ready to install in box and wired.
Cords
and strain relief installed. some are 40 amp controllers and
some are 30 amp.
We start hanging the lights on the house the day after Halloween
Special custom made nippers for notching plugs and receptacles.
We make our own extension cords. what I like to call plugoligy. We are close to 1 1/2 miles of extension cord.
I got some halogen spots for free, so I converted them to Rainbow spots. This year we incorporated LED spotlights and floodlights
I put two Rainbow spots in one fixture.
The
FM transmitter is also a kit from Ramsey Electronics.

our display including our new leaping arches and more LED
lights. Again this year our display is synchronized to music .
